About Me

Original Work

I am a self-taught Illustrator & have Graduated The Toronto Film Schools Writing course, with honors. I have Published 6 stories.
1st was a Graphic Novel called "A Familiar Nightmare".
The 2nd was my rendition of The Greek tragedy Narcissus, "The Narcissus Flower".
The 3rd is a Novelette with illustrations within it, called "For the Love of God".
The 4th is called "All Hail the Phantom Mosquito" is a rhyming book for children.
The 5th is called "WWA, Book 1: Sweet Treat" written by Jenny Q & Illustrated by me.
The 6th and most recent is "The Wishing Willow" a 500-word short story that came in 2nd place for Rural Route magazine's May/June 2021 contest.

            Background

  • Autumn Walker-Duncan grew up in a small town in Wellington County Ontario, called Belwood. She spent the majority of her childhood buried in a book or on the back of a horse.

  • Autumn started writing short stories when she was four years old and began illustrating them shortly after. She continued to work on her stories throughout her school career, including graduating from the Toronto Film school's writing course with honors. Autumn’s dream is to spread the wonder of the imagination to anyone willing to dream.

  •     Autumn is the Founder of SereneAutumn Illustrations and writes in various mediums such as Graphic Novels, Children’s Books, Poetry, and Short Novels.
